my husband plans to upload several more videos, this is just a quick one from his palm that he recorded a while back. i can't wait for jimi's 2nd birthday in october, we are going to do an nba/basketball theme, jimi will go nuts.

also, on the business front, some clients of mine, tyler, terry & joey, also known as "ea homes" have purchased their first "fixer" this year. they bought a craftsman style home in central seattle with tons of potential and charm. i am finally going to see the semi-finished product today, and just can't wait! i will have to post before and after pictures, and keep everyone posted on the listing, and what it ends up selling for, and also will post what they bought it for, etc (i need to get their permission first!) this is their first project, and they plan to tackle several more this year! way to go guys!

how's the market, and how is business?

i am constantly trying to keep up with all of the newest technological advances, so, i figured, why not start a blog site? it's a great way for me to keep everyone posted on the market, my business, and even some of my personal life! i will try to keep this updated weekly, and would love comments, and feedback from friends, family and clients!

the question that comes with being a realtor is, "hey ronnie, how's the market doing, and how is business" i get this question from every single person i know, probably every single time i see them! totally comes with the job, and i am not complaining! the answer is usually, "GREAT!" and it's true, my business is great, and the seattle real estate market is great. it's still steady (no, prices are NOT going down, and neither are rates). to be honest, if you see a house that says, "just reduced! $50K below appraised value" or something along those lines.....really, that doesn't mean anything....a home is TRULY only worth what a buyer is willing to pay for it, in this market. period.

i am still doing my business 100% by referral. i am blessed to be able to work this way, and consistently have a steady flow of business. it makes my job so much more fun! i get to work with my friends, family and great people that my friends and family know. every single client is a friend to me!

right now, i am working with a few hot buyers. i took brad and lindsay (looking in south seattle & burien) out last night to view homes, i always have fun with them. we saw some great places, even a one bedroom home with a "2nd bedroom" which not really, brad and lindsay can tell you that this "2nd bedroom" was the smallest loft EVER. none of us could stand up there, and that's saying a lot considering i am only 5'2". anyway, we ended up seeing 5 homes total, one we only drove by because it was SO gross looking we decided not even to go in. a word of advice to anyone thinking of selling, CURB APPEAL means a lot!

im working with some other hot buyers right now, (hot buyers are buyers that are looking to buy in the next 6 months or so, and that i show at least once a week or so). ariana, matt & jessica, bobbie, megan, melissa & josh, paul & vicki, youngran, & terrie.

jenny & jason were my other hot buyers, but they just made an offer on a home in normandy park, and are closing next week! congratulations to both of them! i also just sold charles (who i refer to as "chuckie") a cute 2 bedroom condo in kirkland this week, he will be closing in 2 weeks.

i currently have one listing pending in greenlake for $599,000, closing september 1. and another listing in greenwood that is a 2BD/2BA townhome for $285,000. the townhome is still available. it's cute, clean and staged! just waiting for the right buyer to come along and snag it off the market! view more photos of this cute little townhome at (www.seattlehometours.com/rr/335c)

my personal life is great also, i am happy to say! my husband jim (who i call ray because it's his middle name, so, that's where the jim/ray confusion comes from) and i just celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary, june 17. we took the day off, and stayed at a nice hotel downtown, and had dinner at ruth's chris steakhouse, yum! my son jimi ray is now 1 1/2 years old, and bigger than ever! he is in the 110th percentile, which obviously comes from his daddy being 6'6". jimi is a handful to say the least, but, it's definitely all worth it! he loves playing basketball on his 4 foot hoop, and can now shoot if from like 2-3 feet away, yes, it will be on youtube shortly, so, i will keep you posted on that!
